Storage Frequently Asked Questions

You can pay for your storage in our office with cash, debit, credit card or cheque. We also accept e-transfers. E-Transfers get automatically deposited into our account. You can also pay with your credit card over the phone or arrange automatic credit card payments to be taken monthly from your credit card.
You have access to your locker or vehicle 365 days a year! That being said you may only enter our compounds during the hours of 7am-10pm.
Yes, we do require as much notice as possible when you know you will be vacating your storage unit. The day you empty your storage unit you must come into our office to return any keys and sign your lease stating you have moved out. Failure to let us know you are no longer occupying your storage unit will result in charges.
It's up to you. We do provide a secure lock and key with all our storage units but if you prefer to use your own lock, you are more then welcome to.
At Maple City Mini Storage, our facilities are equipped with secure gated access, well lit facilities and monitored video surveillance. Securing your items is our top priority.
Billing occurs on the calendar month. For example if you rented your unit on November 15th, your next monthly invoice would come due on the 15th of December.
Yes you can! To reserve a locker you can call our office at 519-436-1400 or submit a request to reserve a locker here. We will not reserve a locker for more then 14 days in advance and all reservations require a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold a locker for you.
When renting a unit or outdoor storage space with us you must fill out our customer information sheet and sign our lease. Once payment has been collected for the first month's rent, you are ready to move your vehicle or items into your storage locker. It's that easy!
Yes, you must sign our lease but there is no time commitment. You can rent a locker for as long or as little as you need.

Hazardous waste, illegal substances, explosives or food are not allowed to be stored at our facility. If you have an item that is questionable, please check with our staff prior to storing it!
Yes, we do have climate controlled units available at our Queen's Line location only.
Yes we have a wide range of boxes and packing supplies for sale. We also have a wide variety of trucks and trailers for rent at our 7690 Queens Line location and 744 Grand Ave E location.
